Clinical Receptionist

The Clinical Receptionist is responsible for receiving and directing visitors, vendors, and patients through the appropriate intake and exiting process of the clinic while providing excellent customer service. The Clinical Receptionist appropriately responds to voicemails, phone conversations, emails, and fax conversation from patients and other clinical correspondence and manages this communication to additional staff if necessary. Additionally, this position accurately processes transactions for patient services and continually manages patient chart details with the most up-to-date information to ensure the best quality care and expedited billing process.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specialized Training:
* Preferred: medical records and general healthcare experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Excellent customer relationship skills
* Preferred: knowledge of Microsoft office programs.

Hours: Mon-Thur, 8:30-5pm
Hourly wage: $22 and up/hour depending on experience.
Day and Place of Payment: Bi-weekly payments which may be direct deposit if desired.
Employment classification: Full-Time and non-exempt.
Holidays: Six (6) paid holidays/year (if holiday falls on regularly scheduled workday).
Following 60-day training period:

* 8-hour PTO for birthday/additional day off paid.
* Two (2) weeks paid time off (more available with longevity).
* Additional unpaid time off with additional time approved case-by-case with owner/management.
* Generous 401k program and continued education coverage.

Clinic Care Coordinator

The Clinic Care Coordinator performs a variety of clinical and managerial duties. They coordinate care for patients, acting as a liaison between departments as well as between patients and their families and health care professionals. He or she also trains and supervises staff; creates policies for clinic employees and sees that these policies are followed.

Education/Experience:
High school degree or GED and five or more years’ experience in clinic management with experience in data analysis, billing and coding, and experience managing employees, or a combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Specialized Training:
Medical records, medical billing, general healthcare administrative experience.

Certificates and Licenses:
* Current certificate in EMR, Billing, Practice Management or within 3 months from start of employment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
* Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, customer, colleague, and vendor population. This includes effective listening, sales and service, and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrate ability to learn and navigate OMS, EMR and EHR systems.
* Demonstrate skill in organization, planning, problem solving, decision making, project management and effective management of resources within budget guidelines.
* Requires the ability to deal with numerous interruptions.
* Strong keyboard and computer equipment experience.
* Familiarity with hearing care operations is a plus.
* Must be able to organize time and prioritize numerous duties within strict deadlines.
* Ability to demonstrate understanding of standard clinical procedures and laws and regulations that pertain to the medical field.
* Must be detailed oriented.

Hours: Mon-Thursday, 8:30-5pm, Friday 8:30-12pm
Hourly wage: $29.10 and up/hour depending on experience.
